It has been commented upon that Weardale has one of the largest varieties of native species in the UK. The dale is a popular destination for migratory birds from all over the continent. On the safari you will also see a variety of more common native species that you will see in their natural habitat.

We can also arrange that you break for lunch on the hill and enjoy a gourmet picnic (weather permitting).curlew.jpg

The safari can take up to four people in one vehicle and upto six with two vehicles. If the weather is right, the tour is given in the open top land rover so that you can enjoy uninterupted views of Weardale.
