Expedition Tent Site

APPROVED DUKE OF EDINBURGH AWARDS TENT SITE

We have a private tent site on the Estate that is only used for school parties and camping groups. The site is located on a footpath route so that it is ideal for Duke of Edinburgh training and any other Expedition bodies. It can only be used exclusively by clients and not by members of the public so you can be absolutely sure that your children are safe. We are also strong supporters of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and will kindly provide assistance within the centre to brush up on some of those vital skills of map reading and camp craft. Please contact the office if you wish to book the site exclusively for your expedition.

Prices: £3 per person per night (inc Wash Facilities).

NATIONAL NAVIGATION AWARD SCHEME COURSES:
We offer the following NNAS and YNAS courses conducted by a qualified Mountain Leader. Prices do not include accommodation.

Bronze NNAS Award: £60 per person inc VAT. (4-6 people only). 2 Day Course.
Silver NNAS Award: £60 per person inc VAT. (4-6 people only). 2 Day Course.
Young Navigation Award (Bronze, Silver & Gold): £200 inc VAT (Upto 10 students). 1 Day Course.

Prices do not include catering. Courses cover progressive map and compass training, risk awareness and expedition preparation. The courses are an ideal pre-requisite to Duke of Edinburgh.
