Weardale Outdoor LANTRA Awards Centre


The Weardale Outdoor Centre is an Approved Training Provider under the LANTRA Awards Scheme. All our instructors are highly competent and experienced. In most cases it is a legal requirement to hold a qualification when handling a vehicle as part of your employment. Employers should take advantage of block booking a course in order to reduce the price per head. Please contact the office if you require a course that is not on the list.

Funding could be available if you are part of the agricultural livestock, agricultural crops, forestry and woodland management businesses.

2 Day Course ATV Sit-astride - £600 for one person plus £100 per additional person (max 6 people)
1 Day Course ATV Sit-astride - Experienced Operator Only - £350 for one person plus £100 per additional person (max 4 people)
2 Day Course ATV Sit-in Novice - £600 for one person plus £75 per additional person (max 3 people) 
1 Day Course 4x4 Recreational - £350 for one person plus £100 per additional person (max 3 people)
2 Day Course 4x4 Professional - £600 for one person plus £100 per additional person (max 3 people)
1 Day Course ATV Sit-Astride- Implements and Trailed Equipment  £450 (max 2 people) 

There is an additional cost if the instructor provides equipment. Places can either be booked on pre-arranged courses or booked specifically for your company. Prices are in addition to VAT. Discounts are available to employers wishing to book multiple courses for employees.
