Family Activities

Here at Weardale Outdoor Centre, we don't only provide activities for schools and colleges, we also provide fun days out for all the family. We can arrange the following activities at your request:

- All adventurous training activities. Please see the adventurous training page for more detail. £350 plus VAT for up to 10 people
- Archery £20 per person plus VAT
- Clay Pigeon Shooting £40 per person plus VAT
- Quad Bike Trail across the Estate (16 and over). £50 per person plus VAT
- Off Road Driving Experience - £60 per hour plus VAT
- Mountain Biking Hire £17 per bike per day plus £85 for qualified guide if requested
- "Perfect Picnic" Wildlife Safari in Land Rovers or walking (recommended in the Spring time). £20 per person upto 4 people. Includes gourmet picnic on the fell.
- Bush Craft Lessons - Light survival lessons including basha building, wild food recognition, fire building. £60 inc VAT for 3 Hrs.
- Orienteering - £5 per person inc VAT must be with an adult.
- Fencing - Instructed by an Olympic Fencing Coach. £45 per hour.
- Hawking Days Out - In hunting season only, a day out working a Goshawk with a pack of Pointers to control vermin. A truly enjoyable dayout. £100 plus VAT

Double activity days can be booked at a massive discount

Centre Facilities:
- Internet Access - £5 per computer per hour.
- Pool Table - £2 per hour
- Tea Room
- Garden Jenga, Boules - £2 per hour
- Free WiFi Access
