WEARDALE OUTWAR 8 & 24hr Infantry Experience

Weardale Outwar is the only place in the UK that will create the nearest thing to real combat without live fire. An 8 & 24hr exercise is based over a 400 acre battlefield with direct orders to locate and engage the enemy forces.

The 24 exercise itinerary includes the following:


DAY 1
0900hrs - Battle Prep
1000hrs - Basic Training to aid survival
1200hrs - Ration Pack Lunch
1300hrs - ORDERS and EXECUTE MISSION
1800hrs - Make Camp and Tea
1900hrs - Stand Down







DAY 2
0700hrs - Reveille and breakfast
0800hrs - Back to camp
0900hrs - Depart














The 8Hr Infantry Experience does not include Day 2 of the intinerary or setting up camp.



The exercise includes instruction on basic training to help survival. 'Soldiers' will be taught how to perform as a section, basic signals, reacting to enemy fire, use of cover etc. 'Soldiers' will also be taught how to erect an Army basher and how to cook Army ration packs. The exercise will give you the nearest experience to a real combat situation.

The exercise is a fantastic way of building on friendships and finding out skills that you never knew you had. A great corporate event and a stag do. BEWARE, not for the faint hearted or those that don't enjoy getting a little rough for the weekend.



THE MISSION: EXERCISE UPPERHAND
Each section will engage in an open battle. Orders will be given, the enemy is to defend a position, and the friendly forces are ordered to take the position. Will things go according to plan? Will you be ambushed halfway to the Final RV? Will your men take the position first time around, or will you need to re-think your attack?  





The maximum capacity is 16 people and players must be 16 or over.
